Sailing from Den Helder (Holland) to Curaçao (Caribbean) only on the wind and in less than 60 days, this 32m schoonerbric has done a magnificent eco-job.

No cuesta nada.

PORTO, Tuesday November 15th 2011

PORTUGUESE SUSTAINABLE REVOLUTION HAS STARTED.
GREEN PACKET SERVICE SETS SAIL FROM PORTO.

A group of sustainable companies has declared to work together in building a positive future; a future independent of cheap fossil fuels.
Last weekend a big happening in Porto of sustainable stakeholders i.a. founders and partners of Lapaz, Muxagat Vinhos, Skrei,  Fairtransport and other innovative companies, coinciding with the arrival of "Tres Hombres", worlds first zero emission cargo ship. At the meeting the members decided to move forward with practical deeds, starting with the opening of Skrei Gallery in the basement of Largo do Terreiro 4; the gallery is opened daily showing a selection of art work focussing on sustainability.
The second action is the inauguration of a sustainable shipping line starting from Porto. This shipping line makes it possible for entrepreneurs and exporters to ship their cargo by the sailing vessel "Tres Hombres". She is taking Muxagat wine, Ramos Pinto port wine, T shirts “Not made in China” from Lapaz, ecological olive oil and different goods from Skrei across the oceans to foreign lands.

Businesses or individuals who are interested in joining this initiative may contact Skrei http://cargocollective.com or Fairtransport www.fairtransport.eu .
The goods can be delivered in the following ports: Madeira, Canary Islands, Cabo Verde, Barbados, Tobago, Curacao (middle of February), Bonaire, St. Martin, Statia, Dominican Republic, Grenada, N.Y. and the Acores.
